2017 is El Cerrito's CENTENNIAL year-- and there will be a "Big Bash" celebration weekend September 14-17. Lots of volunteers are needed to make this successful... we need YOU!

We hope you  will be able to enjoy some of the following events, and that you’ll consider being a centennial volunteer.  (Teenagers welcome too!)

Thurs., Sept. 14Vintage cars & movie night at the Cerrito Theater—all set for volunteers.
Fri., Sept. 15: Family Fun Night at Cerrito Vista Park [see Pixar's "Toy Story" on the giant outdoor screen + The Immigrant (1917)] —all set
Sat., Sept 16: El Cerrito Showcase Parade LOTS needed at staging site  at Safeway and at Cerrito Vista Park

Sat., Sept. 16:  Community lunch in Cerrito Vista Park (volunteers needed for both)
Sat. Sept. 16: Youth Dance (grades 6-8) at the EC Community Center from 6 to 9 pm- all set
Sunday, Sept. 17: Gala Dinner Dance at the Berkeley Country Club (formerly Mira Vista) 4-10 pm

ADULT volunteers are especially needed for pre-parade logistics on Sept. 16th.  We also need folks to march in the parade (to carry signs with pictures of former mayors); this can be adults or teens.

Let us know when and where you'd like to participate! Email Michelle Fadelli at:  Thank you!
